Job Overview
As a Project Manager at Altitude Roofing, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing roofing and siding projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of roofing and siding projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop project timelines, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Coordinate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain open communication and ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and manage expenses to keep projects within budget.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Provide leadership to site crews, guiding them to meet productivity goals and maintain high safety standards.
- Prepare and present project reports to management, outlining progress, milestones, and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in roofing and siding.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing and siding systems, including asphalt, metal, slate, and more.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client relations.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or other relevant project management certification.
- Experience working with a variety of roof types and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
